FAQs

We set up an online portal which your team log into and can upload risk, premium and claims bordereaux, manage coverholders and download your cleaned bordereaux database.

We’re then on hand to help get your team up to speed and answer any questions you may have.

  • No specialist IT knowledge is required to use BDX View. Users should know what the contents of their bordereaux mean so that they can understand the reports created by uploading to BDX View, but all the technical configuration is taken care of.

If you want to use API data feeds, we can work with you to enable this.

  • Of course! BDX View handles all three bordereaux formats as standard. If you have risk and premium bordereaux in one, we can configure your settings accordingly.

Should you wish to override any of these auto-maps, there’s an easy-to-use interface and edits can be saved for that coverholder.

  • No, BDX View creates a database. However, if you’d like to create standard dashboards or reports for your we have several PowerBI templates available. We can also recommend alternatives to get the best output for your business.

  • Your data security is our priority. Access is controlled with multifactor authentication, so only your team can access their accounts. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit, stored in highly secure UK data centres with regular database backups. Please ask about our Security Specifications document for full details.

  • Yes, of course! We pride ourselves on our customer service and communication. Our specialists in insurance and bordereaux processing are here to support you.
